Madeline Shepard, 79, originally from Worcester, Ma., passed away peacefully Friday October 7, 2016 at Carolina Continued Care Center, Charlotte, NC.
Madeline was born April 1, 1937 the daughter of James and Mabel Cashman. She was predeceased by her five brothers, James, Jack, Eugene, Richard and Stephen Cashman. She was married to Arthur Shepard for 48 years and they were blessed with three children, Tammy Benoit of Worcester; Michelle Snyder of Charleston, SC., and Steven Shepard also from Worcester. She also leaves six grandchildren, Chanel and James Benoit, Alexandrea Cox, T.J. and Shane Snyder and Sierra Shepard and several nieces and nephews.
Madeline was a devout catholic and was a parishioner of St. Stephen's Church, Worcester for most of her life and at the time of her death was a member of Christ Our King Parish in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Madeline was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and was a friend to many. She will be greatly missed.
The funeral will be held on Saturday October 15, 2016 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St, Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Stephen's Church, 357 Grafton St, Worcester. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours in the funeral home are Friday October 14, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.
